Chris Browner is a graduate of Denison University and has a master’s degree in education with a focus in agency and community counseling from Xavier University. She is a Registered Nurse, having earned her BSN from Xavier University. Chris is a Program Manager for the non-profit 1N5, a mental health education and advocacy organization aimed at reducing the stigma of mental illness. In 2013, her then 13-year-old son was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Since then, Chris has been a passionate advocate for children with autoimmune liver disease. She co-leads A-LiNK Connections- the patient/caregiver group of A-LiNK (Autoimmune Liver Network for Kids).
